Dr. Barbara Christie has admired and studied animals throughout her life. With over twenty years of experience in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Education, she feels her greatest professional accomplishments include teaching biology in Ghana, West Africa while in the US Peace Corps, encouraging high school and college students to study STEM, helping to prepare the next generation of science teachers as an adjunct professor in the Master of Arts in Teaching Program at the University of Southern California and writing children’s books.
